Michael Lomotey gives a talk on how access to the night sky, once shared across cultures, became a racialised experience through urban segregation, exploring science, imagination and cultural identity. The evening includes a guided walk around the reserve to view constellations, weather permitting - bring binoculars and a red-light torch if you have them. Gravel paths with gentle inclines; accessible trails and ramps to the café, toilets and shop; assistance dogs only. Booking via Eventbrite required. Meets at the Walthamstow Wetlands car park / Engine House.
