An after-dark walk led by a Wetlands guide, starting with a short introduction to the bats found on the reserve before heading out with bat detectors to spot bats in flight and hear their echolocation calls. Detectors and red-light torches are supplied, though visitors may bring their own. The walk covers around 1.5 hours across reserve paths with some gentle inclines; sightings of bats cannot be guaranteed as they are wild animals. Suitable for adults and beginners; assistance dogs only.
