A one-day woodworking course serving as an introduction to the Machine Shop, teaching safe use of bandsaws, chopsaws, pillar drills and sanders while making a personalised chopping board. Includes a Level 1 Health & Safety induction, giving access to book workshop benches afterwards. Sturdy shoes and appropriate workshop attire required; covered by workshop Public Liability Insurance during the course. Refunds or transfers available up to one week before the start date.
