A one-day woodworking course teaching safe use of bandsaws, chopsaws, pillar drills and sanders. Participants learn about hardwood types, choose timber and design and build a personalised chopping board with tutor guidance. Includes a Level 1 Health & Safety induction, which gives access to book workshop benches afterwards. Sturdy shoes/boots and jeans recommended; no trainers or shorts. Refunds or transfers available up to one week before the start date; none after that or for illness.
