Participants craft their own brush, learning UK timber identification and wood-shaping with jigsaws, straight and curved knives, rasps and spokeshaves, before attaching bristles by stitching and gluing and finishing the piece. Sturdy shoes/boots required; no trainers or shorts. Held in Studio 2, which requires climbing three flights of stairs with no step-free access. Refunds or date changes available up to one week before the course; none for illness-related absences.
