Alex Clarke, described as one of the most exciting saxophonists on the UK jazz scene for her warm tone and fluent improvisation, performs with her quartet for the first time at the club having previously appeared as a guest. The set draws on her album Out of the Woods, which reimagines music associated with Phil Woods alongside originals. She is joined by David Newton (piano), Dave Green (double bass) and Sebastiaan De Krom (drums). Doors open 7pm for an 8pm start. Tickets £15 in advance or £20 on the door.
